Powerful IUL Comparison

Analyzer helps you close the deal by comparing Qualified plans to the IUL strategy. It's simple to use and easy for prospects to understand.

Just grab an illustration PDF that you have saved to your computer and upload it to the system. Analyzer reads through the PDF and grabs all the data it needs to set everything up for you.

The power of this comparison is that it lists all the details of both plans side by side, using the exact numbers pulled directly from the illustration you uploaded. By dragging the age slider your client can see all the numbers change - contributions, taxes, fees, retirement income...everything. They watch as each year passes until the qualified plan runs out of money.

By changing the inputs for the qualified plan you can see how various parameters affect their retirement. You can show in real time the effect of a tax hike would be on their retirement and much, much more.

  • Timeline based comparison of the IUL and hypothetical qualified plan
  • Adjust the fee rate of the qualified plan to see its affect on retirement income in real time
  • Adjust the working tax rate and the retirement tax rate to analyze the tax exposure of the qualified plan in real time
  • Show the effect of the annual employer match and compare that to the income generated by the IUL
  • Determine the optimum income draw rate of the qualified plan to analyze how much income can be safely taken out to provide lifetime income
  • Compare the IUL to a non-qualified plan (like a ROTH) with the click of a button
  • Upload multiple illustrations to the system to show different saving scenarios. Quickly select between them using a drop down menu
  • Factor in early withdrawal penalties for any income taken out before age 59 1/2 on the qualified plan
  • Prove the advantage of the IUL with data rather than concepts or sales skills

Indexing Calculator

With the indexing calculator you can visually show the powerful indexing concept to tell a more compelling story of the IUL strategy.

The indexing calculator located on the indexing tab provides tools to effectively explain the indexing concept using the past performance of the S&P or the DOW. With the calculator you can compare an indexed account with an account invested directly in the S&P or the DOW and see how eliminating losses with indexing is more important than chasing the big returns. Select the floor and the cap and also select the date range of the data sample you wish to compare. You can also include the dividends paid in the S&P for a more accurate comparison.

Fees Calculator

With the fees calculator located on the fees tab you can compare different fee rates and their effect on your balance over time. Select your starting balance, the rate of return and the time frame to calculate the return. You can set up two example fee rates to show to your client how just one percentage point of difference in fees can be devastating on retirement accounts.

The Taxes Tab

On the taxes tab you can see the income tax history showing the top marginal rate and how it has changed over time. It also shows the average rate for that entire period to show that we are paying below average tax rates compared to the complete income tax history. On the national debt section you can show your client a live feed from the US Treasury showing our current national debt. You can also see the national debt each year back to 1970 and also each household's share of the debt. This is a compelling argument for the fact that taxes must go up at some point in the future which make tax deferment a flawed concept.
